As Jack glares at Diane and Victor, a smiling Kyle explains that they're living at the ranch now, isn't it great? Diane quickly jumps in to add that they're staying in the carriage house. Kyle is then sent off to feed the horses. Is it okay, he asks Victor. Of course son, says the moustache as Jack seethes. Once Kyle is out the door Jack wants to know what the hell is going on here. Diane explains that she is renovating a wing and Victor thought it would be easier if she lived there. Jack can't believe she would set foot in that house again knowing what kind of man Victor is. As Victor hovers in the background Diane claims Victor has been good to her and Kyle ever since she arrived in GC and that he's a changed man.

Vance and Sharon are at Adam's jail cell. Vance tells them that the judge wants to see him and the DA in his office right now. Adam asks if Vance thinks it's about his bail to which Vance replies, he wouldn't have asked them to meet if it wasn't. A beaming Sharon is optimistic, so, Adam's going to get out of here?” Keep your fingers crossed is all Vance has to say as he leaves for his meeting. Sharon smiles at Adam. He's going to be free tonight and they can be together. Back to the crummy motel says Adams, but Sharon thinks he could move in with her.

Mike and Phyllis are at Daniel's bedside. He remembers New Year's Eve. Daisy was trying to leave town he recalls. Phyllis tells him she was heading to Canada and was caught on an ATM camera there still pregnant. Michael asks if he remembers anything she said, while Phyllis promises a confused looking Daniel that they will find Daisy.

Billy is in his living room anxiously waiting for a call. Impatient, he calls and leaves a message. He's got the second mil ready to go. He wants to get this baby. Vikki walks in just as he hangs up. Saved by his ringing phone, Billy leaves Vikki to look puzzled. Billy arranges to meet with the caller. Same place, let's do this now.

Nick's at Vikki's door. Billy tells him if he came to give her grief just turn around and leave. No, Nick's there to apologize and asks to come in. Billy does not think it's a good idea since he has to leave, but Vikki says she will be ok.

The DA is in his office with Ronan going over his testimony for Pomerantz's trial. Ronan reveals that just in case, Chance will be on the side ready to testify. The DA thinks they've anticipated everything, just as Heather bursts into the room and accuses Ronan of hiding something about the night Chance died. She won't leave until he tells her what it is.

Cricket pays Nina a visit. She’s in town for the trial. Yes, she’s seen Ronan. She just had a meeting with him. Chris asks if Nina and Ronan have become any closer. Not really says Nina. As Chris advises her to give it time, Nina tells a surprised Chris that Ronan is sick and could be dying.

Nina fills Chris in on Ronan’s condition. There’s no cure, but there’s hope; a liver transplant but Ronan is so far down the list he could die before he gets one. Nina’s not going to let that happen. She’ll give him part of her liver if she’s a match. Chris correctly guesses that Ronan doesn’t want Nina to be a donor. Nina doesn’t care. She’ll do it anyway since it’s the only way she can spend time with the one son she can still see.

The DA tells Heather the case has nothing to do with her. Chance does and she won’t leave till she knows what happed to him. She tells a stunned Ronan and a pissed off DA that she and Paul listened to the recording and Paul’s sure Ronan fired blanks. Heather also found out that no one knows the paramedics who were there that night. Ronan warns her not to stick her nose in again. The DA threatens to bring her up on charges if he finds out that she took evidence from his office. Ronan tells the pissed off DA that he will handle it. Left alone with Heather, Ronan tells her she has to back off. She has no idea what she’s getting into.

Back at the ranch with Diane and Victor, Jack tells her about going to Hawaii to prove Skye was living there after Adam had been arrested for her murder. Hasn’t she faked her death once already, asks Diane. No, this time it wasn’t Skye’s doing; it was all Victor’s plan. Jack fills Diane in on all the details, while an unperturbed Victor is busy dialling on his cell phone and calmly sipping his drink as Jack tells Diane about finding the burnt shack, bottle of perfume and the keychain with the key to her mailbox. Victor thinks it’s a hell of a story except he can’t prove any of it. Let’s see what the DA thinks now that he has the evidence says Jack. Jack then tells a now nervous looking Diane that if Victor will go to these lengths to go after his own son, does she really think he will protect her and Kyle. Still think he’s a good guy Jacks asks, talk to Abby and Victoria he tells her. On Victor’s request, Diane makes a hasty exit (to check on Kyle), leaving Victor and Jack to face off.

Adam can’t believe that Sharon wants him to move in with her. Sharon loves him. Other than his mother Adam thinks Sharon is the only one who sees the good in him. Ever since he moved to GC everything changed and he stopped living. He has not cared about anyone of anything but he does now. Adam does not know what he has done to deserve Sharon. Sharon still can’t believe Victor was behind Skye’s fake death even though she’s seen him lie and manipulate people. She never thought he’d do that to her. She thought of him as a father.

Back at the hospital Daniel tries to recall what happened. They argued, he doesn’t remember about what. Phyllis tries to get him to remember. Daniel’s sorry, he can’t.

Jack and Victor continue to take jabs at each other at the ranch. Victors taunts Jack. He’s not the opponent he once was. Paying back all those investors that he lured to the fund. Why, Jack’s going soft. He must’ve sold everything he owned to reimburse them. Hey, Victor will give him a loan. With one third of his assets frozen, Jack doesn’t think Victor can afford his bar tab. After trading more barbs Victor leaves Jack to show himself out. He bumps into Diane at the door. Welcome home he smirks!

It’s tea time with Nick and Vikki. Nick’s sorry about before. They’re not good at the fighting stuff. Yeah says Vikki, maybe because they did not have practice growing up, since they did not grow up together. Vikki would give anything to give Reed a little brother to fight with. Vikki tells Nick that she can’t have more kids when he suggests that she and Billy could give Reed a brother. Vikki has all the money in the world but she can’t buy the one thing she really wants. Everything is slipping away; her dad, Reed. Nick reassures her that she still has Reed. Hey maybe she and Billy can consider adopting.

Billy meets with Primrose and they play a little game of show me yours and I’ll show you mine. Where’s the other million dollars she asks, where’s the baby asks Billy. Billy says no deal. He wants to see the baby before he gives her the money. Primrose tells Billy to trust her. No way says Billy, he trusts his mechanic more that he trust her and he knows his mechanic is screwing him, so she’d better show him the baby. Primrose threatens to walk away, but Billy reminds her that there are not many people out there willing to give her 2 million dollars for a baby. Primrose stops to chew on that for a bit.

Jack tells her she can live where she wants but he doesn’t want Kyle anywhere near to Victor. Diane replies that he didn’t care where Kyle lived for the first eleven years of his life. Jack reminds Diane that he sued her for sole custody and won, and because his conscience told him that she was what was best for Kyle, he gave her custody and what did she do? Keep Kyle away from him. Jack is wondering if he made the right choice. Why is she staying with Victor? Diane and Kyle can stay at the Abbott mansion. Diane reminds him that he turned her down when she asked if they could live there because of Phyllis. He chose Phyllis over his son, so she can choose to live at the ranch. Don’t use Victor against me Jack warns. Bad things happen to people who get caught in their feud. Diane does not intend to be one of them. But what about Kyle asks Jack? Diane will do her best to protect Kyle. You do yours she tells Jack, and he’d better not become collateral damage she warns.

Sharon and Victor embrace warmly at the AC. Sharon thanks him for meeting her; she knows how busy he is at Newman. Victor will always make time for Sharon. Sharon used to believe that. What has changed asked Victor. You lied to me says Sharon. She tells Victor that Jack has shown her evidence that proves Victor is framing Adam for murder. Victor tries to deny but Sharon knows he’s lying and won’t allow him to insult her like that. She knows Victor sent Skye to Hawaii and now she has to live with the memory of watching her die. Victor wants to know what he can do to alleviate her pain. Sharon has watched Victor manipulate other people, Jack, Nick Vikki and now she knows what it is like. Sharon reminds Victor that she always defended him because she knew he would always have her back. Victor reassures her that he will always have her back. Victors thinks she’s been influenced by Adam too much. Vance is meeting with the judge right now Sharon tells Victor. Adam will be let out on bail and everything that he(Victor) has done will be for nothing. Meanwhile, at the jail Vance arrives to tell Adam that no, he did not make bail.

Heather continues to push Ronan. The bullets were fake and so were the paramedics. Ronan admits the paramedics were Feds who were there just in case anything went wrong and thanks to Chance they did, but he insists, his gun was not loaded with blanks. But Paul listened to the recording. Paul’s a PI not a ballistics expert. Heather won’t back off. She wants to know who the prosecution's secret witness is. That’s on a need to know basis, says Ronan. Heather doesn’t know why Ronan is hiding this from her of all people. She prattles on about how supportive she has been about his illness. That’s exactly why Ronan can’t confide in her; because when he asked her to keep his secret she went and told Nina!

Nina and Chris continue to chat. She tells how Ronan used his resources at the FBI to find his father Jimmy, and that he found out that his father had died from the same thing at the same age that Ronan is now. Nina then takes a call. She’s not a match. That leaves Chance he’s the only hope.

Back at GC memorial, why look who has come to see Daniel? It’s Jack! Welcome back slugger. Phyllis tries again to get Daniel to remember what happened. He has some more fuzzy flashbacks of him in the car with Daisy but after that he just remembers Daisy yelling. Maybe Daniel does not remember because he does not want to remember Phyllis says, but Daisy has made it up to Canada and she can have that baby any day now, if she hasn’t already adds Michael. Phyllis then reassures Daniel that she just doesn’t want his baby in the wrong hands.

Nick and Vikki continue their conversation. No, Vikki and Billy have not discussed those options (adoption). Nick thinks maybe they should, but Vikki doesn't think Billy’s ready yet. To have kids asks Nick. Not that, Vikki does not know if he’s ready to deal with the fact that they cannot have a child of their own. She knows he’s disappointed, plus he’s been so busy lately. Vikki does not know why. He has all these phone calls and meetings and won’t talk to her about it. She has no idea, if he’s upset, angry or trying to avoid her. Nick advises Vikki that she can’t let this go on. Vikki will get Billy to open up and then she’ll bring up adoption, but with her and Billy’s history she doubts they will let them into the door. Not to worry, Nick will put in a good word for her and Billy too. They may not have grown up together, but Vikki is sure glad to have Nick around. Yeah, family’s forever says Nick. Hugs!

In an undisclosed location, Billy meets with Primrose who is holding the baby. On the phone he gives instructions to have the funds transferred. Primrose hears, but only when she sees the money will she let Billy have the baby. Her cell phone rings. Transfer complete. She hands the baby over to Billy who thinks she's perfect. Primrose then gives Billy all the documents; birth certificate, adoption papers. Billy wants to know if he’ll have any problems, you know, like people wondering how he got a baby so fast. Primrose gives him a bogus story. The kid’s mom wanted her to have a good home, she found a family, but they called off the adoption because of a family crisis, luckily for Billy who can now adopt her. After Primrose leaves, Billy is ready to take the baby wrapped in a blanket to see mom.

Victor and Sharon continue to chat. Victor remarks how Sharon has always defended the underdog, probably because she felt like one. And when she was Victor defended her, says Sharon. That’s because Victor always saw the goodness in her. Is that all gone now because she’s been corrupted by Adam? Sharon can see the good in Adam. Victor reminds her how he stole her daughter. Has she forgotten that? Of course not! But why can’t Victor give Adam a second chance like he has with his other children. Victor has given Adam more chances than his other children. He reminds Sharon about the last time he gave Adam a second chance and look what he did to him and Ashley. Sharon tells Victor that he has no idea how so sorry Adam is about that. He’s a psychopath says Victor! He will never change! Sharon does not believe that. Victor warns Sharon that Adam will hurt her just like he has hurt anyone he has ever been associated with.

Diane and Nick are kissing at the tack house. Diane thinks she will like being neighbours with Nick. Nick does too. It certainly has its advantages. Maybe Diane will tell Jack that Nick will protect her from big bad Victor and he won’t have a problem with her staying on the ranch. Nick doubts it given their (Jack and Victor’s) history. Diane won’t let Jack dictate where she lives. Nick asks her to promise him she’ll be careful because when Jack and Victor go at each other they throw live ammo. No need to tell Diane that. She’s been there done that. Let’s do something else. kissssssssssssssssss

Back to Heather and Ronan. Ronan can’t trust Heather. If Ronan doesn’t tell her who the secret witness is she’ll tell him. Ronan’s not interested. Maybe Billy Abbott will be threatens Heather. Ronan tell Heather if she wants to go ahead and guess, then guess.. and so she does. Thinking aloud, Heather guesses.. it’s someone who is close to the case, somebody she knows that’s why he can’t tell her. If he was firing blanks and the paramedic were fake then...... it’s Chance. Chance is alive.

Diane and Nick are still kissing at the tack house. Diane breaks it off. She has to leave. She promised to cook Victor dinner. He’s had such a rough day. Sure, Nick will be there late, and if Diane needs anything she should feel free to stop by. Don’t worry she will. Kiss.

Sharon now has to go. Victor tells her that one day when she’s in deep trouble with Adam, if she comes back to him and admits that she was wrong about Adam, he will help her. Sharon does not know what is going to happen between her and Adam, but she doesn’t know if she’ll come back to Victor again. The offers stands Victor says. Just then, Adam walks into the AC. Victor and Sharon are stunned. Sharon is ecstatic. You made bail! No, the DA dropped the charges. Hug. Adam tells Sharon they can celebrate by getting a room there. No, Sharon promised him that when he got out he could move in with her so let’s go home. Victor is left to look as though his head will explode!

More with Heather and Ronan. She begs him to tell her if Chance is Alive. Yes, Ronan finally admits that he is.

Back with Nina, Cricket tells her that Chance can’t be the donor because if he comes forward his cover will be blown. Nina says it’s not up to Chris or her. Chris tells Nina that she will be asking Chance to put both his and Ronan’s life on the line, and she could end up losing both of them.

Phyllis is still trying to get Daniel to remember. He recalls Daisy getting really mad and screaming at him, but can’t remember what happened after that. Meanwhile Billy arrives home with the baby as Vikki comes down the stairs. His back is to her as he places the baby (in a car seat) on the couch so she does not see the baby. Vikki wants to talk to Billy but he has something to say to her. He tells Vikki he loves her. Vikki does too and she has something important to tell him. So does Billy. Just then, she hears the baby cry/squeak? But wait, what’s this. It’s a baby. Billy takes the baby out of the car seat and presents it to the stunned and speechless Victoria.

Next
Nina yells at Chris. "Give Chance the option. He’d want to know what’s going on with his brother."
Vikki to Billy who is holding the baby. "If I hold her I’m gonna love her and I can’t let that happen."
Ronan to Heather. "It was Chance’s call. He didn’t want you to know he was alive."
